What is VENO Snake?
VENO Snake is the snake game everyone knows, rebuilt in 3D and playable for free in your browser. You guide a glossy green snake around a small toy-like board, eat apples to grow one segment at a time and avoid hitting the walls or your own tail. The rules take three seconds to learn, but the soft 3D look, the swallowing bulge that runs down the body and the eyes that follow the food make every round feel fresh.
How to play
On a phone, swipe anywhere on the screen to turn; one long swipe can even make several turns. On a computer, use the arrow keys or WASD, P or Esc to pause and Space to play again; a gamepad works too. The game remembers up to two quick turns, never lets you reverse into yourself and gives you one tiny grace moment before a crash, so a death is always your call, not the controls.
Combos and special food
Speed is the heart of VENO Snake. Eat the next piece before the combo bar runs out and your multiplier climbs from ×1 up to ×8, while each bite plays a higher note. Red apples are always on the board, a golden fruit appears after every five apples and shrinks in value as its timer runs down, rare diamonds are worth 100 points, and later a running mouse tries to dodge you.
Power-ups with a twist
Seven power-ups pop up during a round: Magnet pulls nearby food in, Ghost lets you pass through your own body, Hourglass slows the snake, Double multiplies points, Shield saves you from one crash and Scissors trims your tail for points. Chili Pepper triples your score but makes you 1.5 times faster — stack it with Double for ×6 if you dare.
Classic, Nokia 1998 and Cube World
Classic mode is an endless 19×19 board with an optional wrap-through-walls rule and Easy, Normal and Hard starting speeds. Nokia 1998 switches to a two-colour LCD look with big pixels and beeps. Cube World sends the snake across all six faces of a 3D cube while the camera turns with it. A 30-level Journey, a no-death Relax mode and a Daily Challenge are planned as updates.
Levels, skins and daily missions
Every round earns XP toward 30 player levels, and each level unlocks something new: snake skins like a jelly worm, a wooden train, a neon tube or a golden dragon, board themes and tail trails. Three daily missions and 20 achievements give you a reason to come back, and your progress is saved in your browser.
