What is VENO Gems?
VENO Gems is a free match-3 jewel puzzle that runs straight in your browser. The 8×8 board is built in real 3D with a tilted camera, so the gems are faceted meshes that catch the light and the explosions throw particles off the board instead of staying flat. Seven gem colors, one simple rule, and a board that keeps rewarding you long after you stop pressing.
How to play
Drag or click two neighbouring gems to swap them. Line up three or more of the same color, horizontally or vertically, and they burst; the gems above fall in to fill the gap and new ones drop from the top. If a swap makes no match, the gems politely swap back with a small shake, so nothing is lost by trying.
Cascades are where the score lives
When falling gems form a new match on their own, that is a cascade — and it keeps going without you touching anything. Each cascade in a chain raises the multiplier, from ×2 up to ×5, so one well-placed swap can pay far more than three quick ones. Chaining fast valid moves also adds a speed bonus on top.
Power gems
Match four in a row to create a Flame Gem that clears a whole row or column. Match five in a line for a Hypercube that removes every gem of one color on the board. An L or T shape of five makes a Star Gem that blows a 3×3 cross. Combining two power gems is the fastest way to empty half the board at once.
Modes for every mood
Classic and Zen run forever with no way to lose — the board simply reshuffles when it runs out of moves. Blitz is a 60-second sprint where multipliers and speed bonuses decide the score. Twist mode swaps the rules: instead of trading two gems you rotate a 2×2 block. There are also daily challenges and adventure-style goals when you want something to chase.
