What is VENO Yolk?

VENO Yolk is a cozy 3D egg boiling simulator that runs right in your browser. You drop eggs into a glass pot, keep an eye on the clock, lift them into an ice bath, peel them and slice them in half to see how the yolk turned out. There is no losing and no lives: even an overcooked egg is a fun result to keep. The best moment is always the cut, when the two halves fall apart and the yolk either runs or stands firm.

How to play

Everything happens on the 3D objects with one finger or the left mouse button. Turn the stove knob to set the heat, drag an egg from the tray and let go over the pot, and tap an egg to see how long it has been boiling. Scoop it out with the slotted spoon into the ice bowl or onto the cutting board, tap it on the board two or three times to crack the shell, swipe to peel, then swipe across the egg to slice it in slow motion. A first egg takes less than a minute, no tutorial needed.

Real heat, real results

VENO Yolk does not read from a fixed timetable. Each egg runs its own small heat model, so egg size (S, M, L), fridge-cold or room-temperature eggs and the flame level all change what you find inside. Heat keeps moving into the centre after you take an egg out, so leaving it on the board cooks it a little more while the ice bath stops it right where you want. In Free Kitchen an optional X-ray view shows a live cross-section of the egg as it cooks.

Eight levels of doneness

Every cut lands somewhere on a scale of eight: raw, barely set, runny soft, jammy, fudgy, just set, hard-boiled and overcooked with the grey-green ring around the yolk. For a medium egg straight from the fridge, that means roughly 6 minutes for jammy, 7 to 8 for fudgy and 10 to 12 for hard-boiled. The cross-section changes smoothly, so an egg at 7:10 looks different from one at 8:20.

Four ways to play

Free Kitchen is the default sandbox: up to 6 eggs at once, each lifted at its own moment, with time speed ×1, ×10, ×30 or ×60. Real Timer counts down alongside the pot on your actual stove and rings when the egg you want is ready. Orders brings 30 levels of customer requests such as two jammy eggs and one hard-boiled, scored from 1 to 3 stars. Collection is a display case of 24 cross-sections plus secret eggs, like a double yolk or a cracked shell.

On phone and desktop

VENO Yolk plays in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on computers and phones, with nothing to install. Every action works with one finger on a vertical screen, and soft kitchen sounds of bubbling water, clinking ice and the knife on the board make each egg feel satisfying.
