What is VENO Knots?
VENO Knots is a free rope untangle puzzle that runs in your browser. Each board is a grid of pins with colored ropes anchored at both ends, tangled over and under each other. You drag a rope end to a free pin, and the level is solved the moment no two ropes cross and nothing sits on top of anything else. It is a quiet, unhurried kind of puzzle — one satisfying move at a time.
How to play
Touch or click a rope end, drag it and drop it on an empty pin. Valid pins light up while you drag, and a bad drop simply snaps the rope back, so nothing is punished. You can only move an end that is not pinned down by another rope lying over it, which is where the real thinking lives: the order in which you free the ropes matters more than the crossings you can see.
Levels that are always solvable
Boards are generated backwards from a solved state, so every level has a guaranteed solution and a known par number of moves. Levels 1 to 3 start with two ropes and no clock. From level 4 a three-minute timer appears, then four, five and eventually up to eight ropes, stacked in layers, on boards that grow from 3×4 pins to 5×7. Every fifth level is deliberately easier — a breather before the next step up.
Tools that unlock as you go
Scissors arrive at level 5 and simply remove a rope. Freeze at level 7 stops the clock for 25 seconds. Hammer at level 9 breaks a locked pin, and Expand at level 11 adds a fresh row of empty pins when a board feels too tight. Power Scissors cut one random rope the moment a level starts. There is also a free undo on every board and a hint that highlights a correct move.
Crown Rush and daily play
From level 13 the Crown Rush streak starts: clear levels first try and your coin multiplier climbs, fail and it resets. Three clears in a row also add 15 seconds at the start of the next level. Coins come from clearing fast and under par, and they buy the tools. Progress, coins and settings live in your browser, and there is a save code if you want to move to another device.
Made for phones first
The board is built for a portrait screen, so it feels right on a phone, and on a desktop it sits in the middle of the window. There is no sign-up, no download, no waiting: open the page and you are already dragging your first rope.
