What is VENO Mines?
VENO Mines is the classic Minesweeper you remember from old Windows PCs, rebuilt in real 3D and running entirely in your browser. The board is a floating grassy island seen at an angle, and every tile is a small block with a lid that pops off when you open it. The rules stay exactly the same — open every safe tile without touching a mine — but every click now has weight, sound and motion.
How to play
On a computer, left-click opens a tile, right-click plants or removes a flag, and the middle button (or a click on an opened number) chords. On a phone, tap to open and hold for a moment to flag, or use the Open/Flag switch to play with one finger. Each number shows how many mines touch that tile, from 1 to 8, so you use them to work out which tiles are safe and which hide a mine. You can rotate, tilt and zoom the 3D camera at any time.
Fair rules, satisfying moments
Your first click is always safe and always opens an empty area, so no game is lost before it starts. Empty tiles spread open in a domino wave, and a big opening flashes a CLEAR combo. Chording opens every neighbour of a number once its flags are placed — but a wrong flag sets off a mine, just like the original. Hit a mine and the rest explode in a chain; clear the board and golden flags rise with fireworks.
Modes for every mood
Classic comes in three sizes: Easy 9×9 with 10 mines, Medium 16×16 with 40 and Hard 30×16 with 99, unlocked step by step. Custom lets you set your own size. The Daily Challenge gives everyone the same board for the day, with one attempt and a streak to keep. No-Guess (Zen) only deals boards that can be solved by pure logic and adds a hint button, and Time Attack gives you three minutes to clear as many small boards as you can.
Themes, stats and achievements
Beyond the default Meadow theme you can unlock Neon Grid, Frost, Ancient Desert and Retro ’95, a nod to the old grey tiles. VENO Mines records your time, 3BV, 3BV per second and efficiency for every game, keeps personal bests for each level and awards achievements such as clearing Easy in under ten seconds.
